We came home from a great new outing, windows were open, we downed some strawberries... you know, spring stuff. It's stil got a ways to go here on the "green" side. The weather has been nice, but it's still pretty brown. So I've been freshening up the inside of the house as a result. The lushness will come, I know it will.
So, Jared and I found the best, biggest, and most nature-fantastic-hear-the-wildlife park EVER. Stumbled upon it not a few miles from our place, and we will be found there often this summer. Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park & Reserve. We're talking 5,500 acres of native wildlife habitats and water resources, and trails like you wouldn't believe running through it all. We were in heaven. It was one of those late afternoons/evenings where it was still low 70s, a light breeze, and sunny, so on top of it just being gorgoues weather out, we were excited to find a new place that we see ourselves frequenting... a new reason to love where you live.
Fabulous. We are continuing to enjoy the rest of our weekend, and hope you are as well!
