i don't know whether this is making me feel any better, but at least it's giving me a little chuckle. let's venture back.

i'm so ready for some deck time. but unfortunately, we must flash forward. may 2013.

eek - but at least our snow is gone! we got some more yesterday, but it melted off once it started raining. it's still pretty dismal around here. and i can't end on a picture like this... some more may 2012 for me. 

i refuse to show you a flash forward version of this picture. :) up until all the snow melted yesterday, what stands here still looked quite applicable, however! Spruce tips, my friends, dried up and partially dead, spruce tips. Feel free to judge away.
